[This is from a post I had written last week, but when we couldn't figure out how to get the video up, we removed it. Now that we know what we're doing, here's the floor routine video to enjoy!]
"Extra-Curricular Stewart Performance Narrative"
First up: Lizzie has had two meets the last two weekends - the "Tumbleweeds Halloween Meet" in Tucson and the "Fall Round-up" in Glendale. The highlight was that in Tucson, she got 6th place on beam! In Glendale, she received medals for every event except floor, but her floor routine is what we got on our card to transfer to the computer! She's not happy about her back handspring landing on this one, but I'm still so proud of her! So, enjoy the video!
Eli had two more t-ball games. He loves to hit that ball! But apparently, the feeling is mutual, because at the end of the game on Saturday, he got clocked in the face with a ball! Luckily, it was a softball, and the only stitches he has on his face are the imprints that the ball left: And this picture was even taken a day later!
And that's it for this week! Tune in next week to find out how Lizzie does at the State Meet in Tempe next week!

He is so darn cute. Can't even see the stitches!
Lizzie,
I have been watching the level 4 floor routine every weekend when I work at our local gymnastics center. You did it beautifully, better than some of the teenagers doing it around here. Way to go!! I was singing along to the music in my head; wish they could get a little better tune, don't you?
Amy S.
Totally agree with you on the music business! You'd think if those poor judges had to listen to it hundred of time per weekend they'd use a more pleasant song!!!
