Ivy's Fivey!

Hooray! Today's the Day that Ivy's Fivey!

Erin's in town to celebrate!

Thank you Grandma Vickie and Grandpa Alan!

Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Palmer!
Design-your-own Pet Shop from Erin:
We went to the Scottsdale Sugar Bowl with her friend Anabelle.
And ended the day with a new story.
Hey! How about a party favor for you for coming to Ivy's Fivey Blog Party? For your reading pleasure, a slew of new "Ivy's Wordies":

"I just memorized something!" (instead of "realized")

"I haven't dropped one sip of my water!" (meaning: "I haven't SIPPED one DROP!")

"Be-since it's my birthday, I get to go first!"

And the conversation Ivy had with Erin:
Erin: Ivy, what do you want for your birthday?
Ivy: ummm...
Erin: The love of a family?
Ivy: What IS that?
Ivy, we DO love you! Tons and tons. It was a wonderful day the day that you were born!

Mr. Bobcat

As an 8-year old, Eli has started the Scouting program. Last week was his very first pack meeting. He was so ready!

His den was in charge of the flags for this meeting. Eli did very well!

He and his friend were both introduced as new members of the pack. Adam leaned over and asked me, "Is Andrew much older than Eli?" and I had to tell him, no, Andrew is a month and a half YOUNGER than Eli.

The big moment! Eli received his Bobcat award. I am new to Scouting, so I didn't realize this also means that the Mom receives a pin as well that the boy puts on her shirt. How cute!

We're so proud of you, Eli!

Message from Oliver

I don't know if my mom has mentioned it yet,

but I started crawling recently (like, on August 11th).
I just thought you would want to know.

There must be an Old Man Snoring somewhere...

"What?! It's over already? I was just getting going with my maracas!"
Beautiful Gift:

Baby Hair No More

Oliver has a swath of hair. . .

. . .that as of late has taken on its own personality. . .

. . .and begun impeding the Big O's eyesight. . .
. . .Until Today:

I can see!
