One night, we got to take a little adventure tour of the garden. The kids learned the names of 4 flowers, and identified them in the garden, and then they counted all the different kinds of flowers they saw in a certain garden patch. That was the hardest part of all because there were so many!
At the end of the tour, we had a little picnic with hot dogs and s'mores! David, Tom, and Jack the Dog joined us as well.

Thanks again for taking our kids that night! So today in our garden, Ashley tried to remember the names she learned. She pointed to them & said "snow cone," (coneflower), "how to tame your dragon," (snapdragon), and zeen-tah (vinca). I was pretty impressed that she could even come that close. Thanks Elizabeth & Amos!!!
