I get two comp tickets for each performance I'm in.
One goes to Adam, naturally.

When I told my girlfriends that Adam had a Man Date, they all thought it was a "mandate" ... so no, it is not mandatory. It's just for fun.
And they're just friends.

I'm glad Adam didn't have to sit alone. Who knows what he might have done about Eve's wardrobe malfunction without his mandated Man Date there to keep him undistracted? :)
